Dear Mr. Blackwell:
I sincerely appreciate you for having taken time out of your busy schedule to come to my class at City College and share your story.  Your visit was motivating, as it reminded me there is nothing I cannot achieve.  Your story inspiring, as it encouraged me to be a positive role model in my classroom.  As you spoke of your achievements, you sharpened my understanding of what it really means to be educated.  Thank you.

As your testimony ceaselessly repeats itself in my mind, I continue to share your story with my friends and family to help them find motivation and inspiration and to reexamine what they think of others.
I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.  May you continually shine and be a light to all who are blessed enough to be in your path.

Sincerely,
Rhode-Elise St. Jacques
